Something is rotten in the state of Denmark

There is something seriously wrong with a country when it is thought appropriate for an organ of local government to pay the family of one of its residents $27m, be the organ of local government ever so guilty. Hard to see a good way out of it all - particularly when the lawyers smell the pay dirt.

I just hope that we do not find ourselves in the same place.
